Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan better known as Sundar Picha, is an Indian-American business executive. [6] He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai in India, Pichai graduated at IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. He obtained an M.S. in the United States after moving to the United States. When he moved to the United States, he earned an M.S. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University. After a brief stint with McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. At Google, he was in charge of the development of Google Drive as well as product management and development. Pichai also managed the development of Google Maps, Gmail, and other applications. In the year 2010, Pichai also announced the open-sourcing of the new codec for video VP8 created by Google and unveiled the new video format, WebM. The Chromebook was released in the year 2012. Pichai further added Android to the Google products he managed in 2013.
