Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson, born July 24 1975 is an American former professional wrestler. Her most notable achievements are in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) which was previously known as the World Wrestling Federation. In 1999, Wilson won Miss Galaxy. [1][8] Shortly after she was signed by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and remained there from 1999 until 2000. [2][7][8] Her 2001 appearances on World Wrestling Federation television were part of The Invasion (a WCW storyline, which was then called the WWF). 5] She was the most popular in her fight with Dawn Marie ([7][8]) and with Sable ([5][9]). Wilson has also been a part of the stable comprised entirely of females (i.e. the group of characters with a storyline) that was known as Vince's Devils, which ended its run in 2006.Aside of pro-wrestling, Wilson has been on the cover of a variety of magazines which include FHM as well as Playboy (which Wilson posed for twice, with one featuring both Wilson as well as Sable).Wilson was admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. Wilson's first wrestling experience began when she was at an World Championship Wrestling (WCW) show with her boyfriend , in 1999. Wilson was asked to join Scott Steiner in the ring after she went backstage. Then, Kevin Nash expressed an interest in doing a storyline with her. The episode was her debut appearance on the Nitro show's February 8 1999 episode (later called "Samantha") The storyline revealed that Wilson had been hired by New World Order (nWo) to con David Flair into supporting his father Ric Flair. They appeared together at SuperBrawl IX on February 21st, when Wilson beat Ric and David hit his with a Taser. [15] After Ric took home the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored inside an Barbed Wire Steel Cage match, David and Wilson took some time off from WCW television in April prior to returning in May to accompany David to the ring for matches. Wilson was Flair's personal assistant at the 1999 Bash at the Beach. Flair was able to defend the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.
