Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10 in 1980) is also known professionally as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was once was a model. She was the character Carmen in the TV show The L Word, Kate Reed on the legal drama on USA Network Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw on CBS the crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). Also, she played the character of Det. Dani Reese is a character in Life[3] and Alias. She was a part of Reverie in the series Reverie, which premiered in 2018. She played a recurring part on City on a Hill on Showtime[5] and seven episodes of The Rookie as Jessica Russo, her romantic interest. Shahi met Robert Altman while working as an extra in the show Dr. T and the Women of Texas. Altman encouraged Shahi to move to Hollywood and she was offered roles on Alias and Dawson's Creek and also Reba as well as Supernatural. In 2005, she played the role of supporting actress DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which she joined in its second season. Shahi's two-year contract was ended after the fourth season. Her character was then eliminated from the show.
