Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is an American singer, actress, writer and director. She is most well-known for being the character Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the lead actress in them. Additionally, she was Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson, the daughter of a psychiatrist and a Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 in 1977. Danielle, her sister is an artist of distinction. Her father, Benson's was Jewish while her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to an Reform church in Alabama. Benson has appeared involved in numerous TV and movie shows after Buffy finished up, including The Killing Jar. Her talents as a writer have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010). Buffy says that she has discovered and counted over 1800 Slayers and 500 of them collaborate with the Scooby Gang. Slayers are now able to be revived once they attain an appropriate level of age. Soledad, for example was awakened at her sixteenth. Ruth Connell plays Rowena, in Supernatural's Season 10 It's a fanciful witch who comes of the past from the school.
