Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British musician and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where, along with three schoolmates He formed his own band, White Eskimo. They won the 2009 Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. Although he has always expressed an interest in the world of music but despite his enthusiasm for it he wanted also to be a lawyer or physical therapist. In order to support the needs of his children, he took a short time working part-time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His song Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. Due to this, his band needed to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The formation of the group began in 2010. The five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. They performed the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The consequence, they were one of the finalist. They were however in third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract to One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
